Our mission is to break the cycle of generational poverty by ensuring homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.

Operating as the only shelter care in Wisconsin that does not separate minor parents from their children, House of Hope preserves family unity during crises. In the most recent year, we served 1,279 individuals, nearly 60% of whom were children. We provide more than just a bed; participants receive intensive, strengths-based case management, basic needs support, AODA services, and life-skills training in parenting and financial literacy.

Impactful, Outcome-Driven Results:
•Superior Success Rates: House of Hope achieves a 76% transition rate to stable housing, nearly triple the regional average of 25%.
•Long-Term Stability: 80% of families remain stably housed two years after program completion.
•"Housing is Healthcare" Success: Our model resulted in $964,000 in avoided emergency room costs last year, proving that stable housing reduces the burden on community health infrastructure.

By utilizing a low-barrier, “no wrong door” approach, we remove traditional hurdles like absolute sobriety requirements or criminal background denials, ensuring the most vulnerable community members have equitable access to safety and independence. House of Hope provides the essential bridge for young parents to grow into confident, successful community members.

Total Project Budget: 3093904

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): American Family Dreams Fouundation, State of WI DOA, DEHCR, Green Bay Community Foundation, US Venture

Project Duration: 1/1/27-5/31/2027
Geographical Area Served: Northeast Wisconsin
Age Group To Be Served: 0-24

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Ms.
Contact First Name: Amanda
Contact Last Name: Aubry
Contact Title: Grants Coordinator
Contact Phone: 920-884-6740
Contact Email: amandaa@houseofhopegb.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: House of Hope Green Bay, Inc Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: House of Hope Green Bay Mailing Address: 1660 Christiana St City: Green Bay State: WI Postal Code: 54303 Main Phone: 9208846740 Main Fax: Organization Website: www.houseofhopegb.org Employer ID Number: 39-1708805 Organization Tax Status: Tax […]

[3

post-10655","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
