Early intervention ensures students build the confidence, discipline, and skills needed to succeed in school and beyond.
The Climb Program supports middle and high school students in graduating high school prepared for college or a career. Through tutoring, mentoring, leadership development, and college readiness planning, students develop the knowledge and direction needed to pursue postsecondary opportunities.
The Climb Higher Program provides ongoing support to students pursuing postsecondary education, including mentorship, community, and financial assistance through scholarships. This ensures students persist through college and complete their degrees.
Financial education is integrated throughout all programs using interactive workshops, experiential learning, and one-on-one coaching. Students practice real-world financial decision-making and develop habits that support long-term financial wellbeing.
Research shows that early and continuous financial education improves financial behavior and long-term outcomes. By reinforcing these skills from childhood through young adulthood, Branches equips students to pursue higher education, manage finances responsibly, and achieve economic stability.

Total Project Budget: $294,426

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): The Children’s Trust; United Way Miami; Wells Fargo; JPMorgan Chase; private foundations; individual donors; corporate partners

Project Duration: 12 months ( June 2026- June 2027 )
Geographical Area Served: Miami-Dade County, Florida
Age Group To Be Served: 5 years old to 21 years old

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.):
Contact First Name: Sara
Contact Last Name: Jean
Contact Title: Senior Manager of Grants
Contact Phone: 3054428306
Contact Email: sjean@branchesfl.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Branches, Inc.
