Lead Through Athletics will utilize the program structure of the existing and successful youth program, Scholar Ballers: Summer Development & Leadership Academy, which is a youth program for students between the ages of 8 and 18 in Alief, Richmond, and surrounding areas. The program will include basketball, academic, and leadership elements to promote physical, academic, and character development.<\/p>\n
The program will include daily skill sessions, mentorship, and enrichment activities to promote discipline, confidence, and accountability, and will offer financial aid to ensure access for underserved youth.<\/p>\n
