An innovative food program that provides families with a dignified grocery store experience while they receive their basic needs. We have plans to open in Dallas\u2013Fort Worth, a grocery-store setup, which carries a variety of culturally-diverse fresh, dried, and frozen foods, and allows clients to book a time to visit and choose items to their specific needs.<\/p>\n
All The People\u2019s Market clients must be enrolled in our mandatory budgeting workshop to ensure they are getting educated in financial literacy to help them become independent and self-sufficient members of society.<\/p>\n
In Canada, this program is very successful, with around 150 families served each month in per location and 7,290 food items distributed. Around 50% of all individuals served are children and youth under the age of 18-years old. <\/p>\n
