Project Title: Roos Wraps Program
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
The Roos Wraps Program focuses on providing support to medically-
\nvulnerable or fragile babies through the integration of tummy time to their
\nphysical development using Sweet Dreams Foundation\u2019s Roos Wraps. Roos
\nWrap is a 3-in-1 wrap that grows with the baby to support their healthy
\ndevelopment. Also, it is designed by experts to make tummy time, sitting up,
\nand learning to walk physically and emotionally easier, so that the child feels
\nstrong, independent, and ready to explore. Through this, we aim to raise
\nawareness on the importance of tummy time as a great way to improve a
\nchild’s physical development, digestion, and balance.
\nAside from the direct benefits it gives to babies, the Roos Wrap is also a
\ngreat workout tool for moms because it is also a workout garment that allows
\nadults to exercise with their babies. It is an excellent postpartum exercise for
\nmoms to increase their blood flood, get energized, and strengthen their body
\nwhile releasing endorphins that create a state of joy and reduce the chance
\nof postpartum depression. It is as easy as sliding the tube around their
\ncalves and placing the baby on the legs while securing the baby using the
\npouch.
\nThe benefits of the Roos Wrap include, but are not limited, to the following:
\n\uf0b7Strengthening the head, neck, and trunk muscles of the baby during
\ntummy time
\n\uf0b7Facilitating visual tracking and hand-eye coordination of the baby
\n\uf0b7Creating the baby\u2019s body awareness
\n\uf0b7Supporting the baby\u2019s ability to sit up
\n\uf0b7Practicing balance and further supporting the baby\u2019s learning to walk
\n\uf0b7Creating a bond between the baby and the mother
\n\uf0b7Aids in proper digestion or prevents indigestion<\/p>\n
Total Project Budget: $50 per baby. Our goal is to give Roos Wraps to 500 babies for the holidays in 2021 and to 5,000 babies in 2022.<\/p>\n
